Why Giclée?

All our prints are produced from a high-resolution digital scan of the original painting. They are printed with archival pigmented inks on a large-format printer. A new print technology, called giclée (pronounced jhee-clay) is used. Giclée is like lithography on steroids. It is superior to traditional lithography in several ways. Giclée produces brighter, longer lasting continuous tone images on canvas or other media. The result is much more richly saturated color, capturing most if not, all detail of the original image.

Each giclée print has been lightly-coated with a sealer that offers a 100+ year light-fastness and UV-resistance. Prints should be handled as original paintings, protected from moisture and direct sunlight.

All of our giclée prints come with a certificate of authentication.

Certain prints will come in limited editions. All limited edition giclée prints are re-signed by the artist, provided a series number, and come with a certificate of authentication.

Larger prints may be used as murals.

Suggested methods of display include direct wall application, stretching the canvas using stretch bars, or decorative matting and framing.
